About
Andrew Frank is a Los Angeles-based queer screenwriter and actor whose work frequently blends horror and dark comedy to explore the intersection of sexuality, religion, and moral decision-making.Drawing from a background in theatre and performance, Andrew is passionate about genre storytelling that is centered on complex characters navigating dark and ethically-challenging circumstances.A graduate of Emerson College with a BFA in Theatre, Andrew studied writing under playwright Andrew Clarke where he developed multiple projects for the stage, including the “haunted house farce" Lucifer Loves Earl Grey.After graduation, Andrew worked as an Executive Assistant at the De Laurentiis Company on the Universal Studios lot, where he developed his first feature screenplay - Jerusalem Syndrome - under the mentorship of President of Production Ed Wacek.Andrew is a member of Bad Pitch Writers Lab in Toluca Lake and is currently developing original projects for film, television, and stage.Interested in working together?
